Tonight, we find out who the viewers have voted the Danny and the Sandy that will star on Broadway. Of course, they will drag it all out needlessly for a full hour before we do. But first, all the Dannys and Sandys are back for the opening production number, “We Go Together”.

Next the final four perform “You’re the One That I Want”. Fitting eh?

Then they schmooze with the hosts about how much they all love each other and just getting that far is winning, blah blah blah. Max is so sweet and cute, though! HE BETTER WIN.

Then all the booted contestants perform “Hand Jive”. There are only so many songs in the musical, and I think we are starting to repeat them. Not that there’s anything WRONG with that.

And then the obligatory “emotional journey” pieces. First Ashley. Next Laura - whose wedding has been postponed from yesterday until May 11 because of this show.

And the winning Sandy is….Laura! Yay! Go Laura! I actually started out not really liking her all that much, but she grew on me and finally won me over. Although, I’d have been happy with Ashley winning, too.

And now the boys get the mushy “emotional journey” pieces. First Austin. Then Max.

And Danny is…Max. WOOHOO!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!! You go Max, you Arizona boy! That rocks!

Max performs “Greased Lightning” with the guys.

Laura performs “Hopelessly Devoted to You”.

And then, “Summer Lovin’”.

And finally, the Broadway cast shows up and sings with the newly crowned Danny and Sandy.

On to Broadway!
