Two more dancers are going home tonight. The stakes are high tonight. All the dancers who survive the cuts tonight are going on the tour after the season.
But first, we get a fun 40s style routine (in uniform) to “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” choreographed by Jean-Marc Genereux.
On to the results…
Sabra and Dominic are…safe!
Anya and Danny are…in the bottom 3. Wow. Shocker for me on this one. I thought theirs was one of the best routines of the night.
Jaimie and Hok are…in the bottom 3.
Sara and Pasha are…safe!
Lauren and Neil are…in the bottom 3. I think this is the fault of the routine and the costumes more than the dancers to be honest. Although they’re not my favorite, I think the routine was just too out there.
Lacey and Kameron are…safe!
So the bottom 3 girls are Anya, Jaimie and Lauren and the bottom 3 boys are Danny, Hok and Neil.
Wow. That’s a tough decision they are going to have to make. They all better be bringing it.
My guess is that Jaimie is safe and Lauren or Anya will go for the girls. And that Danny is safe and Hok and Neil will be going for the guys. However, because of the fact that Danny keeps winding up in the bottom 3, I think the judges have to take that into account as well since, as we are constantly reminded, this is about finding America’s “favorite” dancer and so I wouldn’t be totally shocked if he was cut loose, because I have a feeling they want Hok to go on tour since he is a fan favorite, and Danny obviously is not.
While the bottom 6 get ready for their solo routines, we are treated to an amazing tap routine from Jason Samuels Smith.
Now the solos:
Anya: best solo I’ve ever seen her do
Danny: very nice job
Jaimie: beautiful
Hok: sometimes he looks like he’s made out of rubber…amazing
Lauren: no comparison to Jaimie
Neil: nice job
Well, if it comes down to solos, I’d say Lauren and Danny are gone. But who knows? I’d hate to be the judges tonight.
While they huddle, we get to listen to Enrique Iglesias. Oh yay. Where’s the mute button?
Now for the bad news…

Jaimie is…safe!
Anya is…going home. Not really surprised by this, but I’m kind of sad we didn’t get to see her dance with Pasha!
Lauren is…safe!
Now a guy finds out he’s not going on tour.
Neil is…safe!
Danny is…safe!
Hok is…going home. And he’s a class act to the end.
So the top 10 is set and next week it’s all new partners. It’s getting down to the nitty gritty now! The judges have had their last say. From now on, it’s up to the voters.
I’m so glad Anya is FINALLY gone! I haven’t liked her or Danny since the beginning. They are great dancers, but I think they just don’t really connect, at least for me…
Yeah, somehow they’ve just never connected with the audience. Although, I did love this week’s routine and the Viennese Waltz. I’m sad about Hok, but on the other hand, I’d hate to watch him continue to struggle, so I think it was for the best.
