You know how Heidi has been saying the winners of challenges get “benefits”? Well, last night we found out what the “benefit” was…

The two people who won challenges but were gone (Angela and Vincent - and could we pick more dysfunctional people than them? I think not.) got to come back for one more challenge. If either of them won they challenge, they got to stay and have a second chance. Either way, three people would be “out”.

The faces of the other contestants were priceless when this was announced. They looked pretty shell-shocked. But no worries. Angela and Vincent’s outfits sucked. Surprise surprise.

The challenge was to design a cocktail dress using black and white AND they had to use every scrap of material in the challenge, which meant they couldn’t really overbuy fabric to make sure they had enough if they screwed up.

Michael’s dress was gorgeous as usual. I just love Michael and I hope he wins because he just seems like a really nice guy. Laura’s dress was also very pretty and she won the challenge. Finally.

The bottom two were Jeffrey (whose outfit was a pukefest if you ask me) and Kayne (whose outfit wasn’t that bad but he didn’t really use white as more than an afterthought because he had to). And Kayne is out. I really liked Kayne better than Jeffrey. Jeffrey to me seems to be a one-trick pony (all rock and no elegance) and I think Kayne was really trying to grow, but no matter. Sayonara Kayne.

We’re now down to the top 4: Uli, Michael, Laura, and Jeffrey. The end is near.
