American Idol is partnering with iTunes to offer the contestant’s performances the day after they air. They did this on their own website last season and I loved being able to download the performances that I enjoyed the most. Partnering with iTunes, though, will give them a much wider audience.

Dancing with the Stars announced their new cast for the upcoming season of the show on tonight’s finale of Dance Wars.

The female stars are:

Marlee Matlin (actress who happens to be deaf)
Marissa Jaret Winokur (Broadway actress)
Kristi Yamaguchi (Olympic gold medal winning figure skater)
Monica Seles (Tennis champion)
Shannon Elizabeth (actress)
Pricilla Presley (actress and former wife of Elvis Presley)

The male stars are:

Penn Jillette (magician)
Adam Carolla (comedian)
Cristian de la Fuente (actor from Chile)
Mario (R&B singer)
Steve Guttenberg (actor)
Jason Taylor (NFL player)

I’m most excited about seeing Marlee Matlin and Kristi Yamaguchi.
