The first two weeks scores have been combined and someone is going home tonight. I have a feeling this isn’t going to be pretty.

Amazing how they timed the recap show to end and the results show to begin just as American Idol (which was just over an hour) ended. I wonder if they did that on purpose? ;)

Laila and Maksim get the judges’ encore dance tonight, and rightly so.

Tonight’s guest star is Dionne Warwick. 66 years old, and she’s still got it. I love “I Say a Little Prayer” - a classic, and it’s always fun to watch the pros do their numbers.

The pros do the Jive which will be one of the dances next week.

And now a “comedy” bit about the Tango by Jimmy Kimmel.

Paulina and Alec are…in the bottom 2. Boo! Paulina cracks me up. And Alec is not bad to look at.

And, in order to stretch the show out for an hour, Dionne performs “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?”.

So, we’re down to the towering twosome Shandi and Paulina. I actually like Shandi in her Game Show Network gig, but I haven’t really appreciated her goofiness on this show. On the other hand, Paulina is witty and funny and Alec is the cutest dude on the show, so I’d actually like to keep her around. We shall see…after the break. :P

The first couple to go home this season is…Paulina and Alec. Bummer. And poor Alec, who won the first season. Oh how the hunky have fallen.
