America’s Got Talent Episode 311: One Sentence(ish) Reviews

First the results from last week…

Paul Salos is safe.  Slippery Kittens is going home.

The Wright Kids are safe.  Jonathan Arons is going home.   Bummer that Jonathan didn’t make it.

Daniel Jens is safe.  George the Giant is going home.

Queen Emily is safe.  Kazual is going home.

The Zooperstars are safe.  Beyond Belief Dance Company is going home.  *sigh*

On with tonight’s acts…

The Texas State Strutters:  They’re good and they’re synchronized, but they’re kind of boring - not dynamic.

Michael Strelo-Smith:  The judges are buzzer-happy tonight. I thought he sang very well, but I don’t know if it was the best song choice.  (And talking back is never a good idea.)

Bruce Block:  That was the least entertaining act I’ve seen on America’s Got Talent maybe ever.  Stupid.

Shequida:  The singing was atrocious and the rest of it wasn’t much better.

The Taubl Family:  This act is not the best in the competition, but they made me smile for the first time tonight and the harmonies were lovely.

Jonathan Burkin:  It really is amazing what he does.  I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. I don’t know if he’ll make it all the way to the end, but he certainly deserves to move on another week!

Sarah Lenore:  I really enjoyed her performance.  She has a gorgeous voice!

SickStep Crew:  Good, and maybe good enough to make it another week, but it didn’t excite me all that much.

Matthew Piazzi:  The voices weren’t absolutely spot on, but they were very close and the mannerisms were amazing.  He had me until he got on the piano and then it got a little amateurish.

Joseph Hall:  A little amateurish, but still entertaining and better than some other acts tonight!

Who will make it through?  The Taubl Family, Jonathan Burkin, Sarah Lenore, SickStep Crew and Joseph Hall.  Those are my picks on a somewhat lacklustre night!
