Well, apparently I’m back and crazy enough to try this project yet again. If any of you are still reading, Happy New Year!

In the craziness of last week, I forgot to post her five year old picture! (I changed the post date to her actual birthday to make it easier to find in the future.) Yes, my sweet Little Girl turned five last week! I can hardly believe it. The first shot is her on her actual birthday and the second shot is the formal photo we took the Saturday before. (We took the shots here this year. Next year I’m going to borrow my friends lights, though.)

I’m gearing up to do another round of 365 Days starting in January. I’ve gotten really lazy about taking photos this year, which is okay because I really needed the break, but I’m missing it. I’m trying to think of a fresh approach, though, so I don’t get so bored this time. Anyway, enough typing, on with the photos.

One of LG’s favorite books/movies is Stellaluna and in honor of Stellaluna the bat, this year she dressed up as a bat for Halloween!

I have been a bad photo blogger. If there’s anyone still out there reading this blog, I thought I’d share the first month of my project - which is taking a photo of LG every day of school. My mom used to draw a picture of what I was wearing and how my hair was fixed every day of my elementary school, and I still have the notepads she used - precious memories. So, I’m attempting to copy that in my own way by taking a photo of her every day. I’ve forgotten twice and had to do it after school, so you’ll see one photo with very messy hair. I promise I don’t let her go to school like that! I also found that rather than using notepads like my mom did, I can just make a set on flickr to keep all her photos together and I can also notate any important or interesting things that happened that day. How convenient!

The first two photos in the blue dress are from Meet the Teacher Day. The photo in the pink leotard and tap shoes is from the first day of dance for this year. I included them to even out the number of photos. The one on the end was her actual first day of school.

I have no idea why she likes to tilt her head to the side so much! ;) Oh and by the way, she only goes to preschool two mornings a week.

Or 4 2/3 if you wanna get technical. :)
