Five Years, Two Months

Apparently I wasn't ready to do another Project 365. I'll try again one of these days, but there's just too much going on in my life right now. In the meantime, the Little Girl is yet another month older!

Day 8: 1.8.2010 - Midair

This is Mr. Pyrrhuloxia again, feasting on the birdseed that we hung out for our wide variety of bird visitors. My favorite part of the photo, though, is my hubby there in the background! ;)

Day 7: 1.7.2010 - Pyrrhuloxia

I used to mistakenly think this fellow was a female Cardinal, but he is actually a "Pyrrhuloxia" - something I had never heard of before I found him online. Some people have suggested he be called "Desert Cardinal" since that is their basic habitat. I don't disagree!

Day 6: 1.6.2010 - Sterling Silver

One of the things I love most about living in Phoenix (besides not having to shovel snow in the winter) is that there are flowers all year round of one sort or another. Here is a January rose - the variety is one that my mom had in our ...

Day 5: 1.5.2010 - Ladder

Not the best shot, but it illustrates why Mike usually waits until there are several light bulbs to change before he gets the ladder stretched out to do it. A little nerve-wracking!

Day 4: 1.4.2010 - Abstract Lights

To do this I set the camera to a long exposure and then just wiggle it around while aiming it at the Christmas tree lights. It's kind of a neat effect.

Day 3: 1.3.2010 - Christmas Tree

So I promised myself I wouldn't get too crazy about taking a picture every day or posting every day, but I thought I'd do a little better than this! Anyway, playing catch up today.

The Christmas tree was taken down the next day, but I got this pretty shot and ...
