Day 62: Time to Grow and Time to Fly a Kite
First and foremost, this cute Little Girl with the messy hair, turned 3 years and 3 months old today (or 39 months or 3 1/4 years).
But, secondly (and probably much more important to her), it was a beautiful windy March day, and perfect kite flying weather. What is it they say? March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb? Well, it sure is coming in like a lion.
I took a lot of pictures of the kite flying extravaganza. After all, it’s not every day you get to fly your first kite! So if you’d like to see the rest, click here.
I can’t remember the last time I flew a kite, but it sure is a relaxing thing to do.
Taken March 2, 2008. Little Girl at 3 years, 3 months.

I like the bit of the sun just peeking in and Dad’s body language - helping out.

I love this picture - the flare of the sun; the enormous space between your daughter and Dad and the kite, and the connection that’s there that you can barely see. Lovely.
