Day 126: Bring Me to Life
This is my Fairy Duster bush. Mike transplanted it a few weeks ago and it apparently was not too happy about it. This is a photo of it in happier times.
Here’s a close up so you can see how terribly sad it looks.
However, even though it looked pretty dead, we dutifully kept watering it. And kept watering it, even though I was almost to the point of having him rip it out because I couldn’t stand to see it looking so pathetic anymore. I even bought another little Fairy Duster plant and planted it in another location. But the other day when I was watering, I noticed something. Wanna see?
Yep, green is breaking out all over! It’s coming back! I’m so happy!

very hopeful!!!! and I do like the way the sunlight dapples on those new, few green leaves.

That is a beautiful bush! It’s my first time seeing that particular specimen of southwest flora. :) I’m so glad it’s coming back.
