Me and LG

We went up north to my uncle’s memorial service today, and afterwards we had some fun playing in the snow! LG loved the snow. I, on the other hand, remembered (as I was sinking into it), why I don’t like it so much. ;) I’m sure you’ll see more pics popping up here in the coming days, but if you can’t wait, here’s the set. (Obviously, this one was taken by Mike!)

Tulip

This morning I found out my uncle (Dad’s brother-in-law) passed away last night. It wasn’t totally unexpected as he has been in a rest home for the past year, but last night I got a call from another aunt telling me that he had been put in hospice care last night and they didn’t know how long it would be. It’s only been three weeks since Mike’s grandfather passed away, and at this point I’m emotionally exhausted. My uncle was a good and kind man. He will be missed.

Rest in peace, Uncle J.
