So, life has been handing us lemons this week. I got diagnosed with a recurrence of my old enemy, atrial flutter, and am on yucky medication right now, so not feeling my best, but the heart rate seems to be staying down for the time being. I see the cardiologist again on Wednesday, so we’ll see where we go from there. Today, Mike got the news from his mom that his grandfather has stopped eating and drinking. His health hasn’t been good for a long while, so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time now, but prayers for both him and the family are welcomed and encouraged. Hopefully life will sort itself out a bit in a week or two, and I’ll be able to get around and visit blogs a little more often. In the meantime, I’m just hanging in there.

As is our custom, every January 2 we gather in front of the tree, set the timer on the camera and hope for the best. This year, the two youngest members of the family didn’t exactly cooperate at the same time, but it’s all part of who they are, right?
It being the 2nd of the month, it also means that LG is now 4 years and 1 month old.
