365 Days of Grace: Day 20 (Curve-Billed Thrasher on Saguaro)

Posted in 365 Days of Grace on January 19th, 2009 by KarinToday is our 18th wedding anniversary. This morning, Mike’s Grandpa passed away. Life is like that, isn’t it? Bittersweet. It seems like every time a loved one passes away, there are wispy beautiful clouds in the sky. Today was no exception.
To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun.
A time to be born and a time to die;
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal …
a time to weep and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn and a time to dance …
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to lose and a time to seek;
a time to rend and a time to sew;
a time to keep silent and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate;
a time for war and a time for peace.ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Rest in peace Grandpa.

Posted in 365 Days of Grace on January 15th, 2009 by KarinWe have a bunch of old tree stumps in the back yard that LG likes to climb on. I just think the textures are interesting and like to take pictures of them!

365 Days of Grace: Day 14 (Photo Essay)
Posted in 365 Days of Grace on January 14th, 2009 by KarinA story in photos…
I asked her to come to where I was. She didn’t want to. Does this photo speak volumes or what?
Reluctantly following directions…
As usual, not standing still…
Apparently not liking what I had to say…
But luckily, she doesn’t stay in “those moods” too long!
And that is the grace that I see.
