LG and I are talking about rocks this week in our little homeschool preschool, and this morning her dad (the geology buff) took her outside and told her all kinds of cool stuff about the piles of rocks in our front yard.

Mike’s mom asked if anyone wanted a flower arrangement as we were all leaving the luncheon after Mike’s grandpa’s funeral yesterday, so I brought one home to use as a photography subject. Here is one of the white roses from the arrangement. I blurred the edges a bit to give it a softer focus.
