Day 153: Work in Progress

I spent the day working on a song. When a song decides it wants to be written, who am I to argue? You can see my scribbles in my notepad on top and a bit of the actual manuscript underneath. I know enough music theory to be dangerous, but not enough to be able to do anything totally on my own, so I just kind of scratch out my basic melody and wait for Mike to be around to make it all work as an actual piece of music. Sometimes we don’t see eye to eye on the way we think a song should go, but that’s passion I guess, and passion is not a bad thing in art. So, this is what I did today and that’s why you get this photo - didn’t have much time to take any others.
