Frozen in Time

So as I said, today starts a new phase of the blog. Project 365 is over - I may do another one at some point, but not in the near future. In the meantime, I’ll still be posting a photo (almost) every day. It may be from the archives or it may be new. In other words, the photo will not necessarily have been taken on the day it’s posted. And I reserve the right to change the rules up now and then. It is my blog after all. ;)

I took a ton of photos today, but I just haven’t had time to download them from the camera yet, so I’ll post a picture from our recent trip up north. Fall has started to arrive in the mountains to the north of Phoenix. This photo was taken in the forest outside of Strawberry, Arizona.

Today is the last day of my Project 365. I started it last year on my birthday and I successfully managed to take at least one picture every day for a whole year. I have to admit I’m pretty proud of myself! I don’t think I’ll do it again anytime soon, but it was totally worthwhile. I am going to make a book with all the pictures so that I can look back on this year and so can LG and Mike. This ended up being a great year to do this because LG changed sooo much. Anyway, tomorrow starts a new phase of this photo blog. Stay tuned!

Since she got to feed the giraffe at the wildlife park, this is LG’s favorite toy at the moment…lol!

We visited Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Camp Verde, Arizona. This is a wonderful park and it is obvious that it is a labor of love.
