The flash makes it a little easier, but it took me a minute to find the sleeping toddler when I peeked into her dark room to check on her during her nap.

She refused to take a nap today (even though she needed one), but around 6:30 she fell asleep on my bed. And then we had to wake her up a little after 7 to eat dinner. Poor sleeping beauty.

LG has been fascinated with flags ever since Memorial Day when we put our flag out for the holiday and she is always telling me they have “tars and tripes”. So, when we saw these little flags in the grocery store today (for only 99ยข!), I decided she could have one of her own. It kept her occupied for the rest of the grocery trip, and that in itself was worth the buck!

1. “Oh man!” says the evil Dora toy. “Oh man!” says LG. (Note that LG has never seen an episode of Dora.)
