My little messy-haired girl had a little fun riding her tricycle today. She actually can peddle a short distance, but she gets tired or bored (not sure which) rather quickly…lol!

Little Girl got a new pair of sunglasses today!
This hawk was sitting on our neighbor’s fence when we got home this afternoon. The car scared it away, but I watched it land on the power pole in our back yard. As soon as we pulled into the garage, I ran through the house, grabbed the camera and stepped outside the bedroom door. I used full digital zoom and took a shot or two, then a few steps forward, until she (or he) got uncomfortable and took off. I wish I hadn’t cut off her wing in the shot, but still, it’s not every day you get a chance to get that close to a hawk!
I believe this to be a ferruginous hawk, but if anyone knows better, please let me know!

LG had a great time dangling her feet in the pool. I, on the other hand, had to go inside the house so I wouldn’t have a nervous breakdown watching her. Maybe I’m a tad overprotective.
