Five Years, Two Months
Posted in Little Girl on February 2nd, 2010 by KarinApparently I wasn’t ready to do another Project 365. I’ll try again one of these days, but there’s just too much going on in my life right now. In the meantime, the Little Girl is yet another month older!

Day 8: 1.8.2010 - Midair
Posted in 365 Days on January 8th, 2010 by KarinThis is Mr. Pyrrhuloxia again, feasting on the birdseed that we hung out for our wide variety of bird visitors. My favorite part of the photo, though, is my hubby there in the background! ;)

Day 7: 1.7.2010 - Pyrrhuloxia
Posted in 365 Days on January 7th, 2010 by KarinI used to mistakenly think this fellow was a female Cardinal, but he is actually a “Pyrrhuloxia” - something I had never heard of before I found him online. Some people have suggested he be called “Desert Cardinal” since that is their basic habitat. I don’t disagree!

Day 6: 1.6.2010 - Sterling Silver
Posted in 365 Days on January 6th, 2010 by KarinOne of the things I love most about living in Phoenix (besides not having to shovel snow in the winter) is that there are flowers all year round of one sort or another. Here is a January rose - the variety is one that my mom had in our front yard for as long as I can remember.

Day 5: 1.5.2010 - Ladder
Posted in 365 Days on January 5th, 2010 by KarinNot the best shot, but it illustrates why Mike usually waits until there are several light bulbs to change before he gets the ladder stretched out to do it. A little nerve-wracking!

Day 4: 1.4.2010 - Abstract Lights
Posted in 365 Days on January 4th, 2010 by KarinTo do this I set the camera to a long exposure and then just wiggle it around while aiming it at the Christmas tree lights. It’s kind of a neat effect.

Day 3: 1.3.2010 - Christmas Tree
Posted in 365 Days on January 3rd, 2010 by KarinSo I promised myself I wouldn’t get too crazy about taking a picture every day or posting every day, but I thought I’d do a little better than this! Anyway, playing catch up today.
The Christmas tree was taken down the next day, but I got this pretty shot and had some fun with the lights which you will see some of in the coming days.
